Tradition and Hospitality since 1960
For over six decades, our family-run establishment has stood for hospitality, quality, and an unparalleled feel-good atmosphere. What began in 1960 as a small patisserie and confectionery with a tea room and cozy guest rooms has since evolved into a charming 3-star hotel with 70 beds and a restaurant.
Our roots as a family business are reflected in every corner of our establishment: Warmth, personal service, and attention to detail are dear to our hearts. With the acquisition of the neighboring Walliserhof in 2019, we were able to expand our offerings and provide our guests with even more space for relaxation.
Another milestone in our development is the acquisition of the Buljes mountain restaurant in 2024. From Christmas 2024, we are excited to open this traditional restaurant under our management, offering our guests an additional, unique mountain and culinary experience.
In 2024, we also present fully renovated rooms that combine modern comfort with the charm of our establishment. We do not rest on our laurels: Every year, we set the goal of renovating more rooms and continually meeting the growing expectations of our guests.

RESTAURANT
Our guests linger for an aperitif on the sun terrace, enjoy a five-course menu in the evening or choose something from our small/fine à la carte selection.

Europe’s largest spa and the Gemmi ski lift are available to our guests on the day of arrival, starting from 12:00 p.m.

THE GOLD OF OUR ALPS
Alpine cheese is not mountain cheese.
Alpine cheese is produced only during summer (about 80 days per year).
Mountain cheese, on the other hand, is available all year round in the cheese dairies in the mountain regions.
As shareholders of the Fluhalpe alpine cooperative at 2040m above Leukerbad, it is particularly important to us that the alpine farms are maintained and that our intact nature is cared for and nurtured. We have five cows that spend the winter at our friends’ in the Bernese Seeland and in the summer graze with about 70 other cows on the Fluhalpe meadows up to 2500 m above sea level.
We have the pleasure of being able to receive this cheese twice during summer, which has won several gold medals. We are proud to be able to serve this unique cheese to our customers every day for breakfast!
